    You can use butter instead, but because shortening is 100% fat it does add more richness and tenderness to the sweet bread.

    Can you make the dough ahead of time . Or freeze the rolls once they have been baked .

    You can freeze it in a air tight bag, we do, but this recipe only makes 1 loaf.
