Frozen Chestnuts without Shell

  1. With a sharp knife peel off the chestnuts.
  2. Soak the chestnuts in boiling water for two minutes.
  3. Remove the skin while they are hot.
  4. Divide the nuts in airtight bags and freeze.

  1. With a sharp knife make a cut on the chestnuts as if you were going to roast them.
  2. Freeze in airtight bags.
