Portuguese Orange Tart (Tarte de Laranja)


Ingredients
75 grams of cornstarch (about 1/2 cup)3 eggs500 grams of Ricotta cheese (about 2 cups)125 grams of sugar (about 2/3 cup)50 milliliters of orange juice (about 1/4 cup)Zest of one orangePowdered sugar, as neededVanilla extract, as needed
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (about 350°F).
  2. Beat the eggs with the sugar using a mixer.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased and dusted with flour round pan.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes.
