Portuguese Fried Garlic Shrimp


Ingredients
24 medium-sized shrimp, peeled6 cloves of garlic, chopped1 chili pepper, choppedOlive oil (as needed)Butter (as needed)White wine (as needed)Salt (to taste)Pepper (to taste)Chopped parsley (to taste)
Preparation

  1. Place a drizzle of olive oil (about 1-2 tablespoons) in a skillet and add a small amount of butter (about 1-2 tablespoons).
  2. Add the chopped garlic and chili pepper to the skillet and let them fry for a bit.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet.
  4. Season with a bit of white wine (about 1/2 cup), salt, and pepper.
  5. Let it cook until the shrimp are done and the flavors meld together.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with the parsley, and serve immediately.
