Portuguese 3-Ingredient Coffee Mousse
Ingredients
400 g mascarpone cheese (about 1 3/4 cups)
380 g sweetened condensed milk (about 1 1/4 cups)
50 ml espresso coffee (about 3 1/3 tablespoons)
Preparation
Place the mascarpone in a bowl and add the espresso coffee.
Gently whisk everything together until a smooth, creamy mixture forms.
Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk, whisking softly the whole time.
The mixture should be creamy and smooth.
If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, dissolve a teaspoon of instant coffee in the espresso before mixing.
Once ready, place the mixture in the freezer for 3 hours or refrigerate for at least 5 hours.
Serve in small glasses and decorate as desired.
