Quick and Delicious Portuguese Almond Tart
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup of sugar (200 g)
2 cups of ground almonds (200 g)
3 ½ tbsp of butter (50 g)
Zest of 1 lemon
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Using a whisk, beat the eggs together with the sugar.
Add the ground almonds, lemon zest, and finally the melted butter.
Line a tart pan (8-inch diameter) with parchment paper and pour in the batter.
Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Bake for about 25–30 minutes.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
