Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease and flour a baking pan.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you have a light cream.
Add the melted butter and mix well.
Add the flour, milk, and baking powder, stirring until the batter is smooth.
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
