Lemon Mousse:1 small carton (200 ml or 7 fl oz) of heavy cream or table cream1 can (14 oz or 395 g) of sweetened condensed milk100 ml (about 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) of milk1 packet of powdered lemon drink mix (like Tang) or the juice of 2 fresh lemonsChocolate Ganache:80 g (about 2.8 oz) of semi-sweet or dark chocolate1/2 small carton (100 ml or 3.5 fl oz) of heavy cream
Preparation
Lemon Mousse:
In a blender, combine the cream, condensed milk, milk, and lemon juice or drink mix.
Blend for about 4 minutes, until smooth and creamy.
Chocolate Ganache:
In a small saucepan, combine the chocolate and cream.
Heat on low, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy.
Assembly:
In an 800 ml (about 3.5 cups) serving dish, spread a layer of lemon mousse and smooth the surface.
Pour a layer of ganache over the mousse.
Continue layering mousse and ganache until the dish is full, finishing with ganache on top.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until set.
Tips:
Want it sweeter? Use store-bought lemon juice instead of fresh lemons.
Prefer a milder flavor? Swap dark chocolate for milk chocolate.
