Portuguese Cinnamon Bread Pudding
Ingredients
3/4 lb of bread (about 300gr)
1/4 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Caramel (to taste)
Preparation
Soften the bread in half the warm milk and mix well with a hand blender.
Add the remaining milk, eggs, sugar and cinnamon and mix everything well.
Spread the caramel all over the pudding form/mold and fill it with the bread batter.
Bake in the oven in a water bath for about 45 minutes at a temperature of 200ºC or 390ºF.
