Tasty Portuguese Coconut Tart (Tarte de Coco)
Ingredients
1 roll of puff pastry
7 eggs
1 small can of condensed milk (10 oz)
1 cup of grated coconut
Coconut or powdered sugar to decorate
Preparation
Spread the pastry in a pie pan, prick all over with a fork and set aside.
Beat the whole eggs well, add the condensed milk and finally the coconut mixing it well.
Place this in the pie pan and bake at 180ºC or 350ºF in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
When it's golden brown, remove from the oven, let it cool and decorate with coconut or powdered sugar.
