Portuguese Smoked Ham & Fig Salad
Ingredients
10 thin slices of smoked ham (presunto)
Mozzarella cheese (to taste), sliced thinly
4 fresh figs, cut into halves
1 bunch of arugula, chopped
3 basil leaves, chopped
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
Preparation
In a platter, place the fresh mozzarella slices and the smoked ham on top.
Place the fresh figs scattered on top of the ham, as well as the arugula and basil leaves.
Drizzle with the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and sprinkle salt and pepper (to taste).
Serve and enjoy!
