Ingredients

1 and 1/4 cups of sugar1 cup of margarine, melted and cool4 and 2/3 cups of flour3 large eggsZest of 1 large lemonA little water if needed.

Get Portuguese ingredients

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 150ºC or 350ºF.
  2. Beat the sugar with the eggs.
  3. Add the melted margarine (already cold).
  4. Add the lemon zest and flour and stir well.
  5. Add a little water if needed to get the rigth consistency.
  6. Pour the mixture in the pastry bag and draw the cookies on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
