Ingredients

2 cups of flour1/2 cup of brown sugar1/2 cup of olive oil1/2 cup of milk1 cup of honey4 eggs1 teaspoon of cinnamon1 teaspoon of baking powder1 cup of nuts, in small pieces

Get Portuguese ingredients

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC or 350ºF.
  2. In a bowl add the flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, eggs, milk and olive oil, beat very well with the mixer, then add the honey and beat for 5 minutes (until creamy), finally add the nuts and mix.
  3. Add the batter into a greased with butter and dusted with flour cake pan.
  4. Bake for about 45 minutes or until done, after 45 minutes, test with a toothpick.
