Ingredients

1 and 1/4 cups of sugar3 and 1/2 tablespoons of water6 and 3/4 tablespoons of water

Preparation

  1. In a sauce pan, heat the sugar with the 3 and 1/2 tablespoons of water (at less then 175ºC or 345ºF) and let the sugar melt (stiring continuously).
  2. When the sugar starts to gain color, let it boil for a few seconds until it gets darker.
  3. Add the 6 and 3/4 tablespoons of water stiring well and bring to a boil for a few minutes.
