Ingredients

1/4 cup of butter1 (16 ounce) linguica sausage, sliced1 teaspoon of salt4 cups of water2 cups of rice

Get Portuguese ingredients

Preparation

  1. Put Butter and sliced linguiça in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Brown the linguiça for about 15 minutes.
  3. Add the water to the pot, and then the salt.
  4. Bring to a boil and add rice.
  5. When it boils again, turn the heat down to a simmer.
  6. Stir Occasionally throughout cooking (about 15-20 minutes).

Isn't there any seasoning added to this as it looks like there is in the picture? If there is what is it and I will wait for an answer before I start to make it, thank you in advance. I really enjoy your Portuguese recipes. My Mom and Dad both came from Portugal but I never learned more than two recipes from her.
