Ingredients

2 cups of romano beans3 tablespoons of olive oil2 medium potatoes, diced1 garlic clove, minced4 stalks of green onions, finely chopped6 sprigs of parsley, finely chopped1 and 1⁄2 teaspoons of ground cumin1 teaspoon of garlic powder2 teaspoons of paprika2 teaspoons of salt1⁄2 teaspoon of black pepper1 tablespoon tomato paste1 pinch of cinnamon Get Portuguese ingredients

Preparation

  1. Soak the dry beans the night before.
  2. Cook the soaked beans in water with the olive oil.
  3. Once tender, add the remaining ingredients and simmer until the potatoes are tender.

Taste and adjust the seasonings if needed and add more water if required.
