Ingredients

For the Bread:1 small loaf cut into slices4 tablespoons butter, softened3 garlic cloves, chopped1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese1 tablespoon chopped parsley1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese For the Shrimp:450g shrimp, peeled and cleaned2 tablespoons of olive oil Salt and pepper to taste1 teaspoon paprika1 clove of garlic

Preparation

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat with the crushed garlic clove.

  1. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper and paprika.
  2. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and cooked through, remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese and parsley.
  5. Spread the butter and cheese mixture evenly on each slice of bread.
  6. Place on a baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove the bread from the oven, place the prawns on top and serve immediately, sprinkled with chopped parsley.
