Preparation
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then coat them lightly in flour. Use just enough flour to achieve a golden crust when cooked.
- In a large frying pan (big enough to hold all the chicken pieces), add a generous drizzle of olive oil and heat it up.
- Brown the chicken pieces evenly on all sides. Once golden, remove them from the pan and set aside.
- In the same oil, sauté the onion and garlic, seasoning with a pinch of salt. Add thyme and pepper (or other aromatic herbs of your choice).
- Return the chicken to the pan and pour in the broth and beer.
- Let it reduce for about 10 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
- Serve with bread, and for an extra treat, pair it with French fries for an unbeatable side.
