Ingredients

3 eggs1 cup of sugar (200 g)2 cups of ground almonds (200 g)3 ½ tbsp of butter (50 g)Zest of 1 lemon Get Portuguese ingredients

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Using a whisk, beat the eggs together with the sugar.
  3. Add the ground almonds, lemon zest, and finally the melted butter.
  4. Line a tart pan (8-inch diameter) with parchment paper and pour in the batter.
  5. Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
  6. Bake for about 25–30 minutes.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
