¾ lb of cod, cooked and shredded½ cup of flour2 eggsParsley (to taste), choppedSalt (to taste)Pepper (to taste)Olive oil1 cup of water (preferably the water from cooking the cod)

Get Portuguese ingredients

Preparation

  1. Cook and shred the cod and put a side 1 cup of the cooking water;
  2. In a bowl, add the shredded cod, eggs, parsley, olive oil and mix everything well.
  3. Then add the flour and water little by little until it gets smooth (not very thin nor very thick) and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fry in a frying pan with hot oil until they turn golden brown, drain and place them in paper towels to absorb the oil.
